Who Should Read “Rich Dad’s CASHFLOW Quadrant”?
What side are you on is the critical question.
It takes money to make money
More importantly, investing can set you free
While playing Monopoly with Rich Dad, Robert learned a couple of lessons that shaped his mindset:
It’s time to mind your own business
Take control of your CASH FLOW
Know the difference between risk and risky
Decide what kind of investor you want to be
Seek mentors
Make disappointment your strength
The Power of Faith
In my opinion, the reason most people stop and turn back from their dreams is because the tiny person found inside each of us wields more power than our bigger person.
The rule says that to find the number of years required to double your money at a given interest rate, you just divide the interest rate into 72.

Mistakes people make not getting life insurance (living benefits)
By Faith_Focused_Finish, 2020-02-15
Mistakes people make not getting life insurance (living benefits)
Here's the link to the episode
1. Waiting too long to buy insurance
2. Picking a policy based only on price
- Whenever we're given a choice between similar products of various prices, most of us immediately lean toward the one with the lowest price. It's just how we've been conditioned as consumers
3. Choosing the wrong type of life insurance for your current needs and circumstances
- Life insurance can be a confusing product, no doubt about it. There are so many forms and kinds and variations that wrapping your head around all of them can be challenging
4. Borrowing too much money from a whole life policy
5. Undervaluing a non-working spouse
6. Only naming one beneficiary on your policy:
- Most of us assume listing one person as a beneficiary on our life insurance policies is enough. But if your lone beneficiary dies before you do the proceeds of your plan could be paid to your estate. And this causes a bunch of other problems for any survivors it’s eventually passed on to.
- What we should do instead: Make sure you include at least one "backup" beneficiary on your plan,
7. Neglecting to keep your beneficiary designations up to date
- Your spouse passes away
- A non-spouse beneficiary passes away
- You get divorced
- You get married
- You have a child
- One of your beneficiaries changes their name
- One of your beneficiaries moves to another address.
8. Letting your plan lapse before its maturity date
9. Failing to treat life insurance like it's an investment
10. Owning all of the insurance on your life

The Average Black Family Would Need 228 Years to Build the Wealth of a White Family Today
By Faith_Focused_Finish, 2020-02-15
The Average Black Family Would Need 228 Years To Build The Wealth Of A White Family Today
If current economic trends continue, the average black household will need 228 years to accumulate as much wealth as their white counterparts hold today. For the average Latino family, it will take 84 years. Absent significant policy interventions, or a seismic change in the American People of color will never close the gap.
(Need more money)
Basically, wealth is the accumulation of resources, like stocks, bonds, real estate, and money
Bottom line Unless things change, the study predicts that in the next 30 years, the average white family’s net worth will grow by $18,000 per year, but growth for black and Hispanic households will be only $750 and $2,250 per year.
- Government spending on wealth-building has more than tripled since 1994 but mostly helps people who already have wealth
- 77 percent of the home mortgage tax deduction benefits households with annual incomes between $75,000 and $500,000
- Two-thirds of all public subsidies for retirement savings go to people whose incomes are in the top 20 percent
