About Tara Boddie
As a Christian author and speaker, Tara Boddie is a dynamic personality defining what it means to be a

A Professional Counselor, Ministry Leader, and Educational Consultant working with women, couples
and children, Tara has spent the last 15 years working in the fields of education, counseling, and
consulting, helping others navigate their goals and find the means to achieve them.

Orlando (February 14 th , 2020)- Tara Boddie, an educator for over 15 years recently left the school system
to help parents build successful families to impact the lives of children. Starting as a classroom teacher
in 2005, Boddie thought she could best serve her community by academically preparing students to
achieve and become productive members of society, but after a few short years she realized that the
day-to-day family issues was more of a factor in their success than their intelligence. After serving 10
years as a guidance counselor for children ages 3 to 18 Tara Boddie has finally decided to help the
family.

Gaining experience as marriage ministry leaders in their church, Tara and her husband Jason started The
Healthy Marriage Movement where they engage couples through workshops and conferences on how
to strengthen their marriage and build healthy marriages for the sake of their children. In 2019, Tara
penned her first book, “Marriage Is A Beautiful Thing, But I Wish I Would’ve Known” (Self Published
December 2019) to highlight the challenges couples experience juggling purposefulness, marriage, and
children, and how they can experience a life-changing transformation realizing the power they have to
cultivate healthy marriages and families.

On March 7, 2020, Tara invites the media and public to her book discussion and signing at a private
location to be released to those who register for the event and media who contact Boddie. This open
and transparent discussion will jump start a couple’s journey to loving their spouse uninhibited and
utilizing the power God gave us to impact our family and build a continued legacy of successful
marriages.

Boddie, married and raising three kids, tells her story in an inspiring manner that draws in the reader
and gives them hope for a more fulfilling marriage. “Marriage Is A Beautiful Thing, But I Wish I Would’ve
Known” encourages couples to make a positive transformation by first understanding that marriage is
not self-serving then learning to love their spouse beyond their faults as Christ loved the church.
In order to walk in that love there are four critical areas discussed:
 Setting a firm foundation and understanding the value of the “Ministry of Marriage”
 Overcoming a self-serving mentality and using the gifts God gave us to have a more fulfilling
marriage

 Balancing your time in order to have healthy relationships in all areas of your life
 Successful strategies for building a healthy marriage and maintaining love for a lifetime

I wanted to share this prayer with you guys because it's so powerful I listen to it before bed when I get dressed and before I leave the house.

Battle Ready Prayer Praises be to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Holy one of Israel, Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.

I give you thanks and praise for your goodness, your mercy and your grace. I give thanks for a mind to pray, a heart to seek your face and authority to bring my members into subjection.

I thank you for this moment and the opportunity that each day brings. I know that each day is special and I am empowered with unlimited potential. There are no ceilings on my life obstacles, that cannot be overcome or barriers that can stand in my way. In fact, this is the greatest day of my life and I am free to exercise all of the gifts and talents you have blessed me with. My hopes and dreams can manifest today and I approach this moment with great expectation for miracles, breakthrough and deliverance. I stand before you lord naked offering no excuses or justification for my shortcomings and weaknesses.

I come lord, seeking your standards and not those of men. I’ll pray that you will forgive me of my sins, known and unknown. Forgive every thought, deed, action, motive, or intent of my heart that is not lined up your word, your will or your calling and purpose for my life.

Please forgive secret thoughts and uproot any seed of discontent that has been planted in my life. Forgive me lord if I have held back to tithe and give me a heart to restore every person that I have wronged. Just as you forgive me I forgive those that have wronged me and I let go of any ought, bitterness, or ill will that I have held in my heart. I will not allow sin and bitterness to cut off the flow of blessings into my life.

I repent right now in the name of Jesus and I receive the power of the blood to cleanse me of all iniquity. I come before you lord with a heart that is after your own and a mind that is stayed on you. I thank you lord for saving me from myself and the consequences on sin. I surrender lord and give you total and complete reign over my life. I willingly submit to you in thanksgiving and praise.

I thank you Lord for the relationship and fellowship that you have allowed me to share with you. I thank you for every moment, prayer, word and opportunity to gain revelation and understanding concerning you. Forgive me for the times I have taken you for granted or moments where I’ve allowed my focus and discipline to slip. I choose you lord and all of you benefits and denounce all ties and fellowship with the world.

I have no place in the world and denounce everything that it offers. You have given me a choice lord and I choose to be in covenant with you. I have crossed the line of no return and I will not look back. Each day I am getting more and more like you and growing further and further from this world. My reality in Christ is more real in what my natural eyes behold and I know that you are not a million miles away.

You are right here with me every step of the way. I will have confidence in you Lord concerning every situation I face, every decision I make and every temptation in my path. Give me a ear Lord to hear your instructions, eyes that will not be deceived and a heart that will remain faithful.

She is a bilateral amputee who is courageous in her desire to #dreamoutloud, caring in her approach to being the example to #livethedreamyouimagine, and conquering in her determination to eliminate excuses that stifle success.

She is a sister who is humble and helps others on purpose. She is an author who is insightful and inspiring in her writings. Biography of Author Antonio L. Brooks

On September 15, 2019, Antonio L. Brooks added the title Author to his
many achievements as a Self-Published Author. Prior to his present role as
an Author of the much anticipated book, Child Support “How I paid it, and

still made it”. Antonio has always had the grind to hustle.
He currently maintains a career as a Head Custodian for Miami-Dade
County Public Schools. In his leisure, he pursues his passion as a cook. He
also gives tutorials on his Facebook live page called, Shots Fired. In
additional to those culinary skills, he puts them to good use as the Chef

and CEO of Shots Fired Catering Company.

Antonio’s journey in becoming an Author started because of his love for his
two children. Anoina, and Antonio Brooks Jr. He’s also the founder, and
CEO of Fight 4 Life, a Non-for –Profit Organization for men and women
who are battling Cancer. He holds the position as Trustee for AFSCME
Union Local 1184. He’s a Past Master for his Masonic Lodge, a Shriner and

a Past Exalted Ruler of the Elks Association.

Antonio has always been one to engage in conversation with others about
his struggles, and triumphs all the while paying Child Support. Antonio’s
aspiration in writing this book is to inspire, inform, and tickle your funny

bone with stories from his book.
